K&W Express
Description
My summer job for 2021 was for working for a local Algerian company called K&W Express, it is a delivery company that mainly delivers food.
In order to keep more profits and have more access over their user base they had developed their own Android App instead of using uber eats and other platform.
As their business grew, they wanted to reach more audiences by having their services available on both Android and IOS, that's when I came in. I rewrote their app in flutter while keeping the same design and adding some functionalities (search, etc.) and published it on both platforms.
What I learned on this project was:
- Improving my flutter skills by working with REST APIs.
- Implementing challenging UI design.
- Getting hands-on experience with publishing an app on the AppStore with its strict regulations.
